2025 Final Property Tax Installment Due Date

Please note that your 2025 final tax installment is due on Friday, October 31, 2025.

All payments, including those by mail during the Canada Post work actions, must be received by the 31st.
If you do not have your final tax bill for any reason, please contact the Finance Department at (807) 737-2700 to obtain a copy.
Where payment is not made because the bill was not received, or payment was delayed due to postal work actions, penalties will not be cancelled.

Utility and Tax Bills During Canada Post Strike

If you receive your Municipal utility or property tax bills through the mail, you will need to come to the Municipal Office to pick up your bill. Billing is not paused during the strike, and late fees will accrue if bills are unpaid.
If you haven't already done so, we highly recommend signing up for paperless billing to avoid problems receiving your bills during Canada Post strike action. Visit https://www.siouxlookout.ca/finance/ebilling to sign up.

Approximately 26 acres of land is available on the west side of Hudson just north of Bernier Crescent is available for residential development. The property is within the Settlement Area and zoned Hudson Residential (h). The property is the location of a former gravel pit and has a mix of open area and tree coverage. There is potential for connection to the Municipal water system, while private septic services would be required. A Plan of Subdivision application and approval will be required prior to the transfer of the property.
