Prince Street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, between Third and Fourth Avenue, while crews work on a water and sewer main tie-in.
Please plan your routes accordingly and watch for crews working in the area.
Please note that hydrant flushing will be taking place starting Monday, September 15th, until work is completed. Flushing will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. During the flushing process, you may experience low water pressure or discoloured water. If you experience discoloured water, run your cold tap until the water runs clear again. If you have questions or concerns, please call Public Works at 807-737-1234.
The e-waste bin at Hidden Lake Landfill is once again filled to capacity.
Unfortunately that means we once again cannot accept additional e-waste until the current bin is picked up and a new one is brought in.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will post an update once a new e-waste bin is in place.
Hidden Lake Landfill will return to winter hours on Monday, September 22nd.
The landfill will remain closed Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays, and will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until mid-May.
