The Municipality of Sioux Lookout seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified signage contractors for the design and installation of two signs for the Hillcrest Subdivision Commercial Plaza. This EOI aims to identify capable firms and gather realistic cost estimates for budgeting and funding applications.

The plaza is currently under construction by a separate contractor. Upon completion, the Municipality intends to install signage to enhance the plaza's visibility and functionality. Due to the uncertain timeline for plaza construction completion, the Municipality is issuing this EOI to identify qualified signage contractors and secure preliminary cost estimates.

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is initiating a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the Property Maintenance of the Hudson Evergreen Cemetery for the 2025 Summer Season. This will be a one-year contract.  Proposals, including fix cost quotations, will be accepted until Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. CDT.

Scope of Work:

• The clearing of brush from the Cemetery which is approximately 7 Acres (including treed area). Large trees within area of gravesites must be limbed to a height of eight feet, and small dead trees removed.
• Grass cutting commence when 100mm (4 inches) of grass has grown in the Cemetery.
• The Cemetery grass shall be checked for length and cut weekly or as required.
• Grass cutting shall be performed with a ride on tractor, hand mower, or trimmer where required.
• Sandy areas shall be checked weekly for washouts and raked as required. Aggregate added as required.
• Driveways shall be checked weekly, filling in and raking washouts or potholes as required. 
• Aggregate added as required.
• Landscaping as required after any interments take place.
• Garbage to be picked up and disposed of by contractor during weekly checks.
• Work is to commence May 15th, 2025 through September 30th, 2025 or until otherwise requested by the Municipality.  
• Successful bidder must provide the Municipality with a WSIB Clearance Certificate and proof of Liability Insurance in a minimum amount of $5,000,000 prior to commencing operations.
