Warm sand, calm water and sunshine, what could be better? Sioux Lookout has some amazing beaches to choose from - Farlinger Town Beach, Second Sandy, Cedar Bay, and MNR beaches are accessible by boat or road.
Note: Beaches are unsupervised. Please practice water safety.
Town Beach (Farlinger Park)
A centrally located beach with bathrooms, a dock, outdoor stage, playground and picnic area make it a great location for any type of event.
Second Sandy Beach
Located just minutes outside of the core of Sioux Lookout with bathrooms and garbage bins.
Ojibway Provincial Park
A gem in the wilderness. Ojibway Provincial Park offers a beach, boat launches, a playground area, beautiful scenery and about 11km of nature trails. Come for a day or stay for the summer, you won't be disappointed. More information can be found here.
Bernier's Beach (Hudson)
Located just east of Hudson on Vermilion Lake, Bernier’s Beach offers a quiet getaway in a remote setting.
Boat Bay Park (Hudson)
Located next to the Boat Bay Boat Launch in Hudson, this site offers a lovely pavilion for gatherings with BBQ's and picnic tables. Change tables, outhouses and access to the water for swimming.
