R020-2026 Design and Tender Document Preparation for Leachate Collection System Rehabilitation and Access Road Construction at Hidden Lake Landfill
The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide design and tender document preparation services for improvements to the leachate collection system at the Hidden Lake Landfill.
This project involves installing a leachate collection piping system, re-establishing an existing leachate interceptor trench and finger trenches, and designing an all-weather access road to facilitate ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the system. The overall goal is to improve leachate management and ensure compliance with Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) requirements for landfill operation.
Proposals will only be accepted through the Biddingo.com procurement portal, until Monday, July 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CDT.

RFQ No. 019-2026 - Lagoon Dredging and Material Hauling
The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is requesting quotations from qualified contractors for lagoon dredging and dewatered sludge excavation, hauling, and placement services at the Municipality’s sludge lagoon.
The work includes two primary components:
1. Excavation, hauling, and placement of previously dewatered sludge material; and
2. Dredging of sludge material from the lagoon and placement of dredged material
along the lagoon bank for dewatering.
The Municipality may award the work in whole or in part and may award the work to one or more contractors, at its sole discretion.

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is seeking quotes for the Installation of a Shower Facility within the Existing Washroom at the Sioux Lookout Fire Hall in Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
The Municipality intends to install a complete fiberglass shower unit within an existing washroom at the Sioux Lookout Fire Hall. The work will involve tying into existing plumbing infrastructure, which has been pre-identified and marked on site.
The project will require modification of the existing concrete floor to accommodate drainage and venting, as well as extension of existing water service lines to supply hot and cold water to the new fixture.

The station is located at 53 Front Street, Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
