Please note that the Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) was lifted at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, August 20th. All Fire Permits within the Municipality of Sioux Lookout have been reinstated, but Sioux Lookout Fire Services reminds everyone that the rules and regulations of your permit must be followed.

Canoe and Kayak Rentals Ending August 28th

Please be advised that canoe and kayak rentals at Town Beach will end for the season on Friday, August 28th.
Thank you to everyone who came down and enjoyed paddling with us this summer!

Botham’s Bay Boat Launch Closure - August 24 to 28, 2026

Botham’s Bay Boat Launch will be closed and unavailable for use from Monday, August 24th through Friday, August 28th for the removal and replacement of the existing concrete launch pads, grading, and other site improvements.
Please plan accordingly and make alternate launch arrangements during this time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is carried out.
