Sioux Lookout, ON – Changes are coming to the Botham’s Bay Boat Launch! This includes the removal and replacement of the existing concrete launch pads, grading, and other site improvements. Due to the nature of the work being done, the boat launch will be closed and unavailable for use from Monday, August 24th through Friday, August 28th.
We ask that everyone plan accordingly and make alternate launch arrangements during the week.
For everyone's safety, we also ask the public to stay clear of the construction area and contractor equipment while work is underway. Limiting activity around the work site will also help ensure the contractor can complete the project safely and efficiently without unnecessary delays.
The work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, August 28. Should it be completed sooner, we will provide an update through our website and social media channels.
We recognize that this temporary closure may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation while this much needed work is carried out.
