2026 Elections Candidate and Third-Party Advertiser Information Session

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is hosting a Municipal Council and School Boards Candidate, and Third-Party Advertiser Information Session on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sioux Lookout Recreation Centre.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register no later than Friday, April 17th at Noon by visiting siouxlookoutvotes.ca or filling out the form at the Customer Service Desk at the Municipal Office.

Interim Property Tax Second Installment Due April 30th

The second installment of your 2026 interim property taxes are due Thursday, April 30th. All payments, including those by mail, must be received by the due date to avoid penalty.
If you do not have your bill for any reason please contact the Finance Department at (807) 737-2700 to obtain a copy as soon as possible.

Load Restrictions in Effect Starting March 23, 2026

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout will be implementing reduced load restrictions on all municipal rural and urban roads, streets and avenues, with the exception of specific arterial and collector routes, starting Monday, March 23, 2026.
