NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
APPLICATION FOR CONSENT (EASEMENT)

MUNICIPALITY OF SIOUX LOOKOUT
TAKE NOTICE THAT an application for Consent has been submitted under Section 53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter p. 13, as amended, by Jacqueline Duhamel for the subject lands legally described as CON B PT LOT 29 & LOC CL 14651 RP 23R7760 PART 3 RP 23R11490 PART 1 ENGLISH RIVER DRAYTON TWP.
The subject lands are located within the Residential Shoreline (RS) Zone under the Zoning By-law, and are designated Residential Shoreline in the Official Plan. The location of the subject lands are shown in the key map below.
The purpose and effect of the Consent application is to create an easement over abutting properties on an existing private road to provide legal access to the subject lands. The proposed easement is shown in an image below.
The Municipality of Sioux Lookout Committee of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on June 02, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Office to consider this application. Please note that C05-2025 will be heard in conjunction with C03-2025 and C04-2025.
If you wish to make any written comments, please forward them to the undersigned prior to the hearing date, or you may attend the meeting and give verbal comments at the hearing. If you wish to participate or speak at the Public Hearing, please contact the undersigned before noon on June 02, 2025. If comments are not received by the above date, the Committee of Adjustment will assume there are no comments or concerns.
If a person or public body has the ability to appeal the decision of the Committee of Adjustment of Sioux Lookout in respect of the proposed consent to the Ontario Land Tribunal but does not make written or oral submissions to the Committee of Adjustment of Sioux Lookout before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Committee of Adjustment of Sioux Lookout in respect to the proposed consent, you must make a written submission to the Municipality of Sioux Lookout, located at 25 Fifth Avenue, Sioux Lookout, Ontario, P8T 1A4, or by email to [email protected].
