The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is seeking quotations from qualified Contractors for the Interment and Maintenances for the Evergreen Cemetery in Hudson.
In accordance with the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act (“the Act”) and the Regulations established thereunder, the Municipality is required to assume the operation and maintenance of the Evergreen Cemetery in Hudson. To carryout this responsibility, the Municipality is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to undertake the work, described below, which includes two distinct Parts:
- PART I: Cemetery Interment Services – involving all operational requirements, as directed by the Municipality and in accordance with all applicable laws, and in coordination with any other authorities (Funeral Director, etc.) involving the interment (burial) of human remains and/or cremated human remains; and
- PART II: Cemetery Maintenance Services – involving all operational requirements, as directed by the Municipality, and as generally described herein, in accordance with all applicable laws, involving the dignified care, routine maintenance and general upkeep of the cemetery.
Important Note: The Successful bidder must agree to provide both Parts of the required Services.
