The Municipality of Sioux Lookout's Property Tax Clerk is responsible for the billing and collection of all interim, final and supplementary property tax billings.

The Tax Clerk also administers a number of provincially mandated programs including a low-income seniors and low-income disable tax deferral program, commercial/industrial vacancy rebates and registered charity rebates.

The clerk also processes property tax adjustments from Section 357/358 applications under the Municipal Act.

Tax notices are sent out twice a year, the first (Interim Levy) in early February and the second (Final Levy) in early July.

The Interim & Final Levy can now be paid in two (2) installments.

Please note that only one bill will be issued in July for the final tax levy.  It is the customers responsibility to make sure that payments are received in full by the due dates below since the Municipality will not be issuing reminders for the second installment date.

  • April 30, 2024 - 2nd Installment

  • August 30, 2024 - 1st Installment
  • October 31, 2024 - 2nd Installment
