The Municipality is seeking flexible, hardworking staff to support facilities and grounds on an as-needed basis. Work includes ice, grounds, and building maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and basic repairs. Training is provided with opportunities to advance.
What You’ll Do
- Ice Maintenance
- Grounds Maintenance
- Building Maintenance
- Trash removal and janitorial work
- Landscaping or brushing
- Snow removal
- Equipment inspection and repair
- Minor electrical and plumbing
- Construction, drywall, painting
- Working in all weather indoor and out
- Training will be provided, and there is opportunity to move up within the position upon demonstrating skills.
What You Bring
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Class G Driver License with acceptable abstract
- Chain Saw certificate or willing to obtain
- Working at Heights certificate or willing to obtain
- Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
