The Municipality is seeking a friendly, organized individual to support the Public Works front desk on an as-needed basis. This role provides customer service, handles inquiries, and supports day-to-day administrative tasks within the department.
What You’ll Do
- Handling general office tasks like filing, email, and phone call
- Preparing public notices
- Coordinating appointments for water meters or service
- Answering inquiries regarding snow, roads, water, sewer, waste, and recycling
- Processing work orders
- Pick-up and delivery of mail
- Monday to Friday - 7:30-4:30
What You Bring
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience in reception, administration, or financial field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, especially in record keeping
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Hours will vary based on need - starting at $29.34 per hour.
