What are we looking for?
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and pride in a clean space
- Flexibility to work on short notice or varying shifts
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is an asset
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and equipment
- WHMIS or health and safety training is an asset
What will you be doing?
- Cleaning and sanitizing offices, washrooms, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Restocking supplies (soap, paper products, etc.)
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Performing light maintenance or reporting issues
- Locking/unlocking doors and securing facilities
- Following health and safety procedures
- Setting up or tidying spaces for meetings/events
- Seasonal duties such as shoveling walkways or salting entrances
Hours vary per week @ $31.24 per hour
