Sioux Lookout, ON – The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is celebrating the grand re-opening Farlinger Park/Town Beach tomorrow!
“A lot of work has taken place at Farlinger Park over the last few years,” said Mayor Doug Lawrance. “The new Farlinger Park truly is a place the whole community can enjoy and also invites new recreational opportunities. It is most welcoming to our visitors as well.”
The grand re-opening ceremonies will begin at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow (August 27th) at Farlinger Park and continue until 2:00 p.m. There will be remarks from Municipal officials, the official ribbon cutting, cake, a free community BBQ, and live music on the new stage by local musicians.
In the event of inclement weather, the re-opening ceremony will be moved to another date, to be announced. Cancellation notices will be posted on our website and social media channels by 10:00 a.m. if the event is going to be postponed.
