Under the Forest Fires Prevention Act the period from April 1st to October 31st of every year is designated as a fire season. During this time there are specific regulations that must be followed that pertain to all outdoor fires. The Forest Fires Prevention Act and its regulations are aimed at reducing forest fires and ensuring for public safety.
