These two stations have a full time Fire Chief and a combined Volunteer Firefighting force of 36 firefighters made up of one Deputy Chief, one District Chief, six Captains, one Training Officer and twenty seven firefighters. One part time Administrative Clerk is also located in the Sioux Lookout Fire Station.
The Fire Department Fleet consists of four Fire Pumpers, one Compress Foam Pumper, two Equipment Vans, one Tanker Truck, one Ladder Truck, one Jaws of Life Rescue Unit, and one Ice / Water Rescue Trailer. Throughout the year Firefighters perform additional duties such as conducting tours of the Firehall for the school children, taking part in the annual Santa Claus Parade, Kids Day during the Blueberry Festival, Family Safety Night, Fire Prevention Week, and provide assistance every year to the Lions Club with their July 1st Fireworks show.
