Meno-Ya Win Health Centre
One of our most prized accomplishments is the new construction of our combined Provincial and Federal Hospital, the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre, which is being referred to as a "Centre of Excellence" by the Ministry of Health. The facility will house 25 family doctors, a resident surgeon and radiologist, numerous visiting specialists, expanded tele-health services and a CAT scan machine. This Federal and Provincial initiative has been strongly supported by the 29 remote First Nations in the Sioux Lookout District.
