The Municipality of Sioux Lookout's Property Tax Clerk is reponsible for the billing and collection of all interm, final and supplementary property tax billings.
The Tax Clerk also administers a number of provincially mandated programs including a low-income seniors and low-income disable tax deferral program, commercial/industrical vacancy rebates and registered charity rebates.
The clerk also processes property tax adjustments from Section 357/358 applications under the Municipal Act.
Tax notices are sent out twice a year, the first (Interim Levy) in early February and the second (Final Levy) in early July.
The Interm & Final Levy can now be paid in two (2) installments.
Please note that only one bill will be issued in July for the final tax levy. It is the customers responsiblity to make sure that payments are recieved in full by the due dates below since the Municipality will not be issuing reminders for the second installemnt date.
